Building on our experience and expertise in community development, cross-sector partnerships and working with disadvantaged communities and individuals, we focus our efforts and resources on four distinct, yet inter-related activities:
Building cross sector partnerships for sustainable development.
Developing local economies, enterprises and livelihoods.
Facilitating access to know-how and development resources.
Exploring and developing strategies for sustainable development.
We leverage cross sector knowledge and resources in designing and piloting partnership approaches for sustainable development. The key sectors we work with include the civil, private, public and academic.
We work with individuals, groups and communities using participatory, human centred, place-based approaches to deliver sustainable livelihoods, enterprises and local economic development.
We create unique opportunities for individuals and organisations to apply knowledge, skills and resources in service to humanity. We facilitate skills-based volunteer programmes in southern Africa targeting local and international students, graduates, working and retired professionals. We marshal development resources to support sustainable development.
We identify practical sustainable development pathways through case studies, partnerships and alliances. We develop and pilot projects within southern Africa working in collaboration with local and international partners
